Department leaders at a global management consulting firm were interested in breaking down silos and getting functional groups to collaborate more effectively, but setting that expectation had not resulted in a big shift in how teams were working.

The Results
After rolling out the program at multiple levels, more than two-thirds of employees reported that they intentionally and successfully apply enhanced interpersonal skills on a regular basis to connect with colleagues.
